Ratchet & Clank HD Collection leaked by Amazon

If you’ve never enjoyed the humorous action ingrained through the popular Ratchet & Clank series, we here at The Gaming Herald would suggest you resist temptation for just a smidge longer.

Specifically, a product page posted briefly over on Amazon France suggests Sony Computer Entertainment is preparing to launch the Ratchet & Clank HD Collection for PlayStation 3.

The page in question, which has since been yanked, didn’t outline which Ratchet & Clank titles are to be included in the collection, but it did offer up a retail date of May 16.

Considering the wealth of Ratchet & Clank games at Sony’s disposal, the collection could consist of titles plucked from the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 and/or PlayStation Portable (PSP).

Other game ‘collections’ to arrive on the PlayStation 3 include the likes of The God of War Collection, the Jak & Daxter Collection, and the upcoming Silent Hill HD Collection.

Neither Sony nor series developer Insomniac has commented on Amazon’s posting.
