UFC Undisputed 3 kicks its way to chart glory

Videogame sales evidently make for good sport over in the UK, where UFC Undisputed 3 is punching and kicking with heavyweight intent and FIFA 12 has enjoyed something of a retail resurgence.

More pointedly, the latest edition of the Undisputed Fighting Championship franchise has entered the All-Formats chart in top spot, while everyone’s favorite and longstanding soccer series has moved from fifth into second.

Although not quite as authentically sporty as EA’s latest edition of FIFA, SEGA’s cute and colorful Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games has also shifted back up the chart, moving from tenth to fourth.

Elsewhere on ChartTrack’s weekly listing, Activision’s military shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 sits in third, while multiplayer epic Battlefield 3 rounds out the top-five places.

The rest of the chart includes Final Fantasy XIII-2, which has fallen from second to sixth, while Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure has risen seven places to seventh, The Darkness II has dropped from third to eighth, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has held at ninth, and Just Dance 3 has pushed up two places into tenth.
