Army Corps of Hell: New trailer for ‘Name of the Year’ PS Vita game
Ask yourselves the following question, and don’t bother reading on if your answer is anything less than a mightily bellowed “Hell yeah!”: Would you like to play a portable videogame blending elements of Pikmin, Cannon Fodder, Brutal Legend, and Overlord?
For those (scant few) of you still with us, please direct your fondness for ‘follow me blindly into oblivion’ gameplay towards upcoming PlayStation Vita epic Army Corps of Hell.
Beyond having an awesome title, Army Corps of Hell also promises to deliver frantic third-person action as players lead an ever-faithful band of evil goblins on a merciless path of destruction in order to reclaim ‘The King of Hell’s’ throne.
As we said, the gameplay takes its cues from various other strategy-based action titles insofar as it challenges players to select from (or blend together) ability-specific minion classes such as ‘soldier’, ‘magi’, and ‘spearman’ in order to progress through the game world.
Other aspects of note include corpse looting, access to 100 different weapons and armor types, and even special abilities triggered by the PS Vita’s touch-sensitive rear panel. Oh, and there’s also an ear-splitting, shred-tastic heavy metal soundtrack.
Here, take a gander at the new (Ad-hoc multiplayer) trailer for Army Corps of Hell and get a better idea of what we’re prattling on about:
Developed by Entersphere and published by Square Enix, Army Corps of Hell is scheduled for release on Feb 22.
