Sexy new screens for Uncharted: Golden Abyss

With February’s arrival of the PlayStation Vita (PSVita) creeping closer, what better way for Sony to drum up interest in the North American and European launches than to draw focus towards one the platform’s biggest games.

Case in point, today has seen the Japanese electronics giant offer up a batch of new screenshots for Uncharted: Golden Abyss, acclaimed developer Naughty Dog’s much anticipated venture into the world of cutting-edge portable gaming.

Given the plaudits bestowed upon the PlayStation 3’s Uncharted games, it’s more than likely Sony is hoping Golden Abyss will represent something of a system-seller when it hits retail on February 22.

And, given how good these shots look, it would appear all those seemingly insane ‘mini PS3’ claims aren’t especially wide of the mark where the Vita’s capabilities are concerned.
