Team17 launches Worms cuddly toys

Considering the impressive shelf life attributed to the Worms videogame franchise where appeal is concerned, it’s fair to assume that its fanbase is more than a little dedicated.

Putting that dedication to the test, series creator Team17 has this week announced the availability of its new Worms Plush Toy collectible merchandise. We kid you not.

Described as “a must for all Worms fans”, the four officially licensed plush toy characters are made from “premium quality materials” and are “highly detailed”—we hope that doesn’t mean they’re coated in slime.

The Worms characters being offered up in cuddly-toy form include ‘Original Worm’, ‘Army Worm’, ‘Pirate Worm’, and the apparently ever-so-cute ‘Super Sheep’.

All of the above are also available as plush keyring fobs for all those fully grown men who perhaps don’t want to run the risk of being caught snuggling their beloved worm beneath the duvet—ahem.

Adding to the attraction, if you want to call it that, seller IGS (GameOnStuff) is presently running a limited time 10 percent discount for customers that are also fans of its Facebook page.
