Warcraft expansion prices slashed at Blizzard store
European gamers thus far resistant to the clawing temptation of Blizzard’s time-sink online epic World of Warcraft are getting their resolve and their wallets truly tested this week.
More pointedly, popular World of Warcraft expansion packs Wrath of the Lich King and Cataclysm have had their respective regional price tags slashed on the official Blizzard download store.
Gamers in Europeland can now snaffle Lich King for €19.99 euros, a reduction of €10 euros on its original price, while Cataclysm is presently selling for €29.99, down from €34.99 euros.
Meanwhile, over the channel in Blighty, the Brits can take advantage of a similar reduction that sees Lich King selling for £14.99 GBP and Cataclysm for £24.99 GBP.
In related news, Blizzard’s sci-fi spectacular StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty has been adjusted downwards from £39.99 GBP to a more teasing £32.99 GBP.
